The current New Brunswick motorcycle licence plate series started in 1990-91 as a 5 x 8" plate with bilingual stacked province name at right and sticker box left. Numbering format was "MC" prefix plus five-digits with high MC77247 per Mike Franks.

MC plates in the mid-2000s were revised with addition of "Canada" to province name, "New" and "Nouveau" flank sailing ship and all text smaller. At the same time, plate size was reduced to NA standard 4 x 7" and the new Yxx12 series debuted.

Sheeting artwork revised to 2008-12 multi-colour swoosh along top, "Be...in this place..." bilingual slogan bottom somewhere between YJG and YJY37.

At what point was the slogan dropped? Let us know!
