This series of Commercial plates started in 2001 at 10000-JA, Some prior 1986 Liberty base Commercial numbers from the 10000-Ax range were remade on this base.
Mike V. noted in 2010 that it took less than 10 years to get from 10000-JA to 99999-JZ, probably because light trucks became eligible for passenger plates during that time.
