MPD 909
In Honolulu and Maui, police departments have their own plates.
On Maui, the MPD letters are used for police cars. Currently, most are MPD 5nn and MPD 6nn.
On Kauai and Hawaii, police cars use regular county plates.
Maui Police Department motorcycles also use the combination MPDnnn, but on the smaller size motorcycle plates.
