Issue began in 1996 at 0MA00 but switched briefly in 2008 to the same numbering configuration as other Specialty plates. It returned in 2010 with the addition of one extra number to the end due to the Florida dies. Artwork here reflects post-2013 design updates. Only 1,748 of these plates remained active by November 2025.
Original fee was $25 annually, changing to $35 in 2012 and creating relative scarcity for this plate. By comparison, the optional "Bridge" graphic plates at the time were only $5 extra upon first registration and nothing additional at renewal.
