The PEI passenger licence plate was issued on the wind turbine base for a few short years.
2007-10 prefixes N, T, R and X were all issued concurrently, making highs tracking impossible:
N series from NH 347 to NZ 687 including NI and excluding NO.
TA plus TF 940-TS including TI and TO, other T series prefixes unavailable due to overlap problems with still-active 1993 base "Anne" plates.
RW to RZ 499
XL, XM, XN, XO, XR, XS, XT, XU, XY including new-issue XN 927 on a rental car in May 2010.
2010-13:
The 123 AB format with barcode and holographic image emerged in 2010 starting at 000 AA. A few AA suffix plates were initially released including highly sought-after plates 000 AA and 001 AA. Shortly afterwards a deliberate attempt was made to randomize issuance. Flag and sticker box switched positions between top and bottom right corners of Ex and Bx suffixes.
